Yahoo! UK News Message Boards – Internet Fraud – Beware of computer repair shops

Sky news have just reported an undercover operation whereby they gave a laptop to 6 or 7 repair shops around the London area. There was only 1 honest shop. The others cooked the bills claiming things were wrong that weren't whilst others accessed private information including bank accounts.
Do not put anything onto computers that you don't want others to access. BEWARE COMPUTER REPAIR SHOPS MANY (but not all) ARE DISHONEST!!
